The EB1012 comes with HDMI connectivity to provide high definition video playback; delivering crisp and clear images to your HDTV or LCD monitor. That visual drama is further complemented by an audio jack with S/PDIF 5.1 channel support that gives you an unparalleled audio experience.

The accompanying ASUS' Total Media Center application is a one-stop program that lets you browse, organize and view the various files in your media library. It supports multiple video formats like MPEG, WMV, and VC1.

And if that's not enough, the EB1012 comes with ASUS@Vibe—an online digital entertainment portal that lets you access your favorite music, videos, and Live TV content from the web.

The EeeBox PC EB1012 is designed for convenient connectivity, and comes with a multitude of I/O ports to cater to an assortment of devices.

Aside from the USB (x6), VGA, HDMI, Ethernet, and audio-out ports, the EB1012 also has an eSATA port which lets you enjoy high speed data transfers from external storage devices. eSATA transfers data at more than twice the maximum data transfer rates currently enjoyed by USB 2.0 and FireWire users.

For seamless networking and connectivity, the EB1012 features WLAN 802.11n that gives you faster surfing speeds and higher throughput when compared to other wireless standards. Its wider range of coverage ensures better single transmission and reception.
